For reference, this is the debut work for both of them.[1] The male lead's real name in the play is 'Jung Jun-ho', and the female lead's real name is 'Son Jae-in'. 'Jenny' and 'Juno' are the nicknames and nicknames that the two of them and their schoolmates call summaryThe movie tells the story of a couple of second -year middle school students of the same age who had a baby due to a single mistake ? , and the two of them are terrified to give birth and raise the baby is from a rich family[2] She is the youngest of 3 sisters. She is a pretty and cute girl who is good at studying.[3] Juno is the only shaman from an ordinary family. He is not good at studying like Jenny, but he is good at games and dreams of becoming a pro gamer .Originally living in Busan , Juno moved and transferred to Jenny's middle school .[4] , Soon after, Jenny and Juno started dating. And one rainy day, Jenny went to Juno's house to play, and the two of them had sex in an empty house.[twopeople]Jenny is horrified when she finds out she is pregnant with a pregnancy test , and calls Juno to the school rooftop. Then she becomes tearful and is promised "don't abandon me no matter what." Jenny's words came to Juno, who innocently shouted "Of course!!", not knowing what was going on, that she was pregnant , and Juno was first, Juno avoided Jenny and cried in the bathroom every break, showing a sloppy ? side, but soon came to her senses and decided to have a baby with Jenny. Juno draws a ♡ on the school yard and confesses his love to Jenny in a loud voice to Jenny and her classmates watching from her window. And he starts taking good care of Jenny with all his heart. As if they were shocked, the two happily spend their pregnancy .Juno treats Jenny for morning sickness , and when Jenny says, "I want to eat sundae ," she buys sundae after midnight and wraps it up, acting as if she would sell her soul for Jenny and the baby. He goes on dates and takes day trips by train . The friends who heard the news held a wedding ceremony in the school auditorium[6] fervent congratulations Like a couple preparing for childbirth , the two live a life filled with sesame in the end, Jenny's little sister Seo Min-jung finds out that she is pregnant . While the younger sister was suspicious that Jenny's sanitary napkin did not shrink at all, she witnessed Jenny wearing a belly band . The younger sister was frightened, and Jenny, who was caught with her belly band, was equally surprised. Jenny begs her little sister to keep it a secret, and soon goes to her mother with Juno and tells her the truth about her is led by her mother and younger sister to visit an obstetrician for the first time , and both Jenny and the child are diagnosed as very healthy. For reference, the child in the womb is a son.[7] Juno, who was intimidated and followed her to the hospital , was beaten by Jenny's mother preparatory mother-in -law, and then went home and drank soy sauce before delivering it to her mother as a notification. Saying "Mom, will you tell Dad?"To discuss this issue, Jennie's family and Juno's family set up a kind of meeting where they meet and talk. The place is a pretty classy looking restaurant.[8] Even in this serious situation, the two express their affection for each other without hesitation, and Juno calls her the nickname 'Jenny' as usual, but hears a shout from Jenny's father preparatory father-in-law . Since it had been a while since I was pregnant , it was impossible to have an abortion , so I decided to have a baby. However, the parents of both families tried to separate the two, and Jenny and Juno do not even know the subject and confront them. They said they would never break up, get married , give birth and raise children, and Jenny's parents try to take Jenny to a vacation home in order to send her to the United States , where she is with her older sister. One day, when Jenny suddenly doesn't come to school and can't be contacted, Juno doesn't know what to do and stamps his feet. According to her male students, Jenny took a break from her who somehow found out Jenny's whereabouts, took a taxi and chased after Jenny. Even at this time, it's really spectacle, but Juno, who sees the car with Jenny and her parents, gets in a taxi and orders the driver to "follow that car." And he lies, saying, " A pregnant woman is kidnapped in that vehicle." The furious taxi driver chases after Jane's car, and even mobilizes his fellow drivers to surround Jenine's car. So Jenny and Juno have a tearful reunion ?.At this time, Jenny suddenly felt colic and her amniotic fluid burst. Jenny, who was rushed to the hospital, gave birth to a healthy son very easily and quickly .[9]Juno, who became a father, studies in the library to the point of being deaf ..., and Jenny, who became a mother, piled up various textbooks next to him and said, "It's not going to be as good as Seoul National University. From now on, Harvard University is my goal . Juno Fighting ^^" and cheering. don't you In the meantime, their young son is being cared for by her maternal grandmother Jenny's mother. All kinds of extravagant baby clothes, strollers , and toys are a bonus. Her rich Jenny leans on her parents' economic power, leaving her childcare to her parents, and it seems that they just have to the song “You were born to be loved” starts playing, and Jenny, Juno, their parents and their families, and their schoolmates in school uniform happily smile and join hands to sing “You Are Born to Be Loved” in chorus. . As the song continues, the set walls go up and the film cast[10]Kim Hye- seong as Juno Jung Joon-hoSeo Min -jung as Jennie's little sister4. CriticismIt was criticized for portraying the problems of teenagers ' sex and little mothers in an overly bright and positive way. In fact, the problem is not so much the positive portrayal of social issues, but the fact that the characters, development, and overall structure are too childish and contrived. First of all, the original work is an internet novel , but it is just about that level. Even the two lead actors are very poor in their acting skills. Maybe it's because this film was my debut at the time of filming.[11]From the director's point of view, it seems that he deliberately cast teenagers to empathize with the main couple, but unfortunately the result was not good. Even though it was a movie that was openly aimed at marketing ulzzang , the movie itself was too unrealistic and not very interesting, so the reaction was not good even among teenagers. Teenagers over 15 are usually well aware of the dangers of underage pregnancies, so they ask, "Does that make sense?" It's hard to respond positively... . So, even in 2022, 14 years after the screening of this film, awareness of underage pregnancy is still close to the abyss for both adults and teenagers .However, if the quality of a romantic comedy, which is the essence of this film, is okay, that is not the case either. From the beginning to the end, the main character couple never experienced a conflict worthy of conflict.[12] Throughout the running time, only dating scenes are shown, and when it ends, it ends after giving birth to a child. At the time, the keyword was unconventional underage pregnancy, but pregnancy in the work was just a means to make the bond between the main character couple stronger.[13] Audiences who believed only in the face of the leading actor and expected Rocco were disappointed with the insincere and clichéd romance, and audiences who watched the movie expecting a serious answer to pregnancy and childbirth said that this movie only used the material of pregnancy for aggro. I was disappointed that it was a common teen romance that was put it all together, the director's competence was too lacking to include the incompatible subject matter of romantic comedy and underage pregnancy in one film. With the success of the young bride[14] The biggest reason for this film's failure was that the director, who gained his confidence, did not objectively grasp his abilities. The biggest problem is that they positively portrayed the main characters' actions , who loudly said that they would be in charge of the baby , but left childrearing to their parents and escaped to study. In the work, their responsibility is expressed as ' study ', but studying is a responsibility as a student, not as a it is a bigger problem not only to take responsibility after giving birth to a baby, but also to raise it after birth. In order to preach the preciousness of life, the film focused only on childbirth and neglected the issue of childrearing , making it difficult to gain sympathy from the public. In the end, I only feel sorry for the parents of the main characters and Jenny's older sisters who were suddenly struck by lightning overnight after living well. This is very similar to the scene where a child whines that a puppy is cute and wants it, but quickly gets tired of it and leaves the mess behind to the mother .Unsurprisingly, most critics gave negative reviews. Park Pyeong-sik said, 'A child gives birth to a child. Adults vary in their business speed,” and Lim Bum gave each of them 1 star, criticizing them as “a fantasy of an adult with poor imagination borrowed from a middle school student’s body.” Feminist critic Hwang Jin-mi gave it 4 stars and said, 'It's beautiful and wonderful. Now I have to ask It received a favorable review of "Why not?" However, current feminists are criticizing single mothers and adolescent pregnancy in the opposite way from Hwang Jin-mi. In fact, from the beginning, it is difficult for Hwang Jin-mi, this nobleman, to come up with something useful for film criticism...Director Kim Ho-joon had fun dealing with the marriage story of a minor in his previous film, A Little Bride, so it seems that he tried to hit the box office by tackling a similar story in the future . However, unlike Young Bride , which faithfully followed the clichés of the romantic comedy and received buffs from Moon Geun - young and Kim Rae- won , who were popular actors at the time.[15] No effect could be expected from this the end, the performance of the young bride was completely ruined, and after that, the work activity was completely cut off, but in the mid-2010s, he continued his film activities in the direction of sex comedies that are Reality went to AndromedaThis is the main factor that lowered the rating of this film. In the movie, the male and female protagonists, who are in their second year of middle school, get pregnant one day by chance after spending their first night together, and are shocked for a moment . In a real situation, it is difficult for her to endure an unwanted pregnancy unless she has an abnormal mentality. The news of being pregnant at the age of adolescence is a great shock to both girls and boys, so most of them end in a fight, and it is very difficult to balance schoolwork and childrearing .In addition, Jenny and Juno's school friends congratulate them on their pregnancy , hold a grand wedding ceremony , and when the baby is born, they come to the hospital to congratulate them all. You have to be suspended right away or really well done to transfer school , and unless you are a true friend who has built a really sincere friendship, it's easy to ostracize or turn away from them, saying, "I'm underage and got pregnant after having sex with my boyfriend/girlfriend ." Even if you don't want to be friends, sometimes you have no choice but to stay away from parents who don't want to leave 'such a child' as their child's the movie, Juno gets hit by Jenny's mother for cheap, and it ends with both Jenny and Juno being yelled at by their respective parents. don't At least, it was fortunate that the parents of the two main characters were very popular , but if it was real , it is most likely that the child would have ended up being aborted or sent to adoption no matter how the child was born .Moreover, it is not an easy task for even the richest family to arrange child support and the environment to raise a child. By the way, if you are a parent like Jenny and Juno, who has a child of adolescence, you must be in your mid-40s. Of course, 'grandparents babysitting for a while when parents are busy' and full-time childrearing are on a different level! Taking care of your baby can really make you as described above, although the main characters were criticized for escaping through study, in fact, even if they gave up their studies and took responsibility for raising children , realistically it would have been a gutter. Since they are only children in their mid-teens who have not even finished middle school yet, even if they stop studying and jump into the front line of life, it is virtually impossible to find a 'proper job' that exceeds the part-time job level and can support a family with their own strength. Because. In addition, it will be difficult to know or practice how to properly raise a child at a young age, and even if everything miraculously works out, the eyes of the world will be difficult to the end, the more you dig, the more reality becomes a gutter in many ways . In a real situation, there is a chance that it will be more like the Little Mom episode of Couples Clinic Love and War rather than this true story? The original novel of the movie was posted alternately in the form of a diary by the names of the authors 'Jenny' and 'Juno' on the Internet homepage. On the homepage, there was a phrase that said, 'This is Jenny's house, a 15-year-old mother'. Netizens argued over whether it was fiction or homepage was closed at the same time that it was being made into a novel, and a few days before the homepage was closed, the author 'Jenny' posted a post titled "Baby legs!!!" Attached to the content was actually a picture of the baby 's etcAmerican films Although it is a film that is difficult to compare with Juno , only the name and subject matter are similar, in Korea , the two are often compared or related. I wonder if I asked a question in an interview, and the director of an American film even said, "I haven't heard of it."Seo Min- jung, an actress who later became famous for her unstoppable High Kick , appears as Jenny's little sister, and this role is Seo Min-jung's first and last movie the OST, sung by Park Hye-kyung[16] and the b-side song [17] and [18] , you have someone born to be reference, half of the movie is said to have been written by the two main characters themselves. Oh, so... Also, there are some scenes where Jennie appears in her underwear, and the exposure of Park Min-ji 's panties, which was underage at the time, seems to have been a topic of discussion. Of course, there was also criticism that it was sensational, along with criticism of the film as a gamer Na Hyun Na made a cameo in the final scene of Juno and StarCraft . By the way, at this time, Juno is wearing the GO team uniform. In fact, he even received the cooperation of the GO team . By the way, the owner of this uniform was wearing a person whose name cannot be told anymore . In addition, caster Jeong So-rim and Kim Chang-sun commented.[1] Some people know that the sitcom Unstoppable High Kick, in which Kim Hye-seong appeared the following year , was his debut work, but this one gained popularity from then, in fact, he made his debut with this movie. For reference, Minji Park made her debut as a model in 2003, and this work is her debut as an actress.[2] I live in a two-story house with a grassy yard. Her mother is the president of the parents' association at Jenine's school, so she frequents the school and is friendly with her teachers.[3] According to Juno's friend, he is ranked in the top 5 in the entire school. Even at a wedding held by schoolmates , the story is mentioned by the male student who served as the moderator.[4] When I first transferred and introduced myself, I spoke in Gyeongsang-do dialect , but it quickly changed to standard language .[twopeople] There are no scenes of direct sexual activity such as taking off all clothes and being naked, caressing or inserting genitals, but when it comes out , there is a scene where they are lying down together after the scene of Jenny and Juno wet in the rain going into the house together.[6] The female students even prepared a wedding dress for Jenny , and no, how did the little kids get that expensive... He even provided her with a veil and a bouquet. The contrast between Jenny in a bride's outfit and her friends in school uniform running through the subway station with happy smiles and the strange look on the faces of passersby is superb.[7] Jenny's father complains, "Even though I tried so hard to have a son, I kept being a daughter, a daughter, a daughter."[8] In fact, this restaurant is quite expensive, so it is said that the production cost was high when filming this scene.[9] Although each mother is different, of course childbirth is painful in both natural and caesarean sections, and the first child is more difficult and takes a lot of time. Even up to this point, Jenny didn't even get very full ....[10] Many of them appeared in the High Kick series. Kim Hye-seong/Seo Min-jung/Jeong Ji-an - Unstoppable high kick, Kim Ja-ok - high kick through the roof[11] However, even if the acting was good, the evaluation of the actor's acting ability was not good or bad because it was a poor movie to the point of being treated as a waste of talent .[12] In the middle, they try to create a Romeo and Juliet- like atmosphere by forcing them to break up due to Jenny's parents' opposition, but the audience doesn't feel much of a sense of danger because they already know that Jenny's parents will forgive Juno anyway . The father is a middle school student with no blood on his head, just like her daughter, so there is nothing she can do, and her daughter is in a situation where she wants to die because she loves her father. .[13] As if to disprove this, Jenny's birth scene, which should be the most important in this work, is very simple and futile.[14] In fact, rather than the high quality of the movie itself, The Little Bride was also a movie that had a lot of power with the stimulating subject matter of an arranged marriage between an adult man and a minor woman and Moon Geun -young , who was at the peak of popularity at the time .[15] In fact, even a young bride is very childish by today's standards, and there are not just one or two problematic elements. In other words, it was able to succeed thanks to the good times.[16] Above is the original. There is also a version sung by the two main characters and their friends, and a rock version.[17] modern juice song[18] Version sung by Minji Park and friends 9/10 The Innocent Love This film impressed me a lot because of its combination of the romance between the teen couples and the humor caused by their innocence. In the eyes of the adults, especially in some eastern countries, the teens at their age should not be involved in love, getting pregnant will be definitely unacceptable and accused. And this would cause a deep hurt to the young lovers which may not be recovered. It moves me a lot that Juno took the responsibility of taking care of Jeni. He is so brave in his age. And their innocent love is so pure and simple. It's not a film about ethic. The writer makes it a comedy because he wants to tell the audience being in love is not wrong for the teens. The most important part is the responsibility they should take and the care and help the parents and the society should love this film! 5 out of 6 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? They have to figure out how much they love each other and how to keep their secret from two main actors are a great combination together and I find the story very well done and believable for their situation. Permalink 9/10 Unbelievably Funny, But Serious Warning Spoilers As a Korean-American, I was surprised that this movie did so good at the Box Office. Movies there rarely deal with teenagers and sex. However, this movie deals with teenage pregnancy and shows teenagers in a responsible story seems a little unbelievable. How the young teenage girl Jeni dealt with the pregnancy is unbelievable. How did she deal with the morning sicknesses and the pressure of having to attend school and hide her pregnancy for nearly 5 months? She curiously stares at her stretch marks while full-grown woman are sometimes horrified by their appearance. And how did a couple of 15 year old manage to hide the pregnancy without anyone noticing anything unusual for such a long time? But yet, Jeni and Juno's efforts to keep the baby and their relationship from falling apart is so sweet and innocent. This movie respects teenagers and their seriousness about things like love, while many movies portray teenage love as a fickle puppy love. Their little "wedding" at the end is sweet was kind of disappointed at the ending because it seemed so unreal- Their parents take care of the baby while they go to school? It wasn't believable at all. But keep in mind that while this movie tries to speak to teen about dealing maturely with sex, it's also a funny comedy piece at the same time. 3 out of 5 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? It is about the complex problem of early teen think that what makes the film special and enjoyable is that the young man reacts to the situation with maturity and responsibility well beyond his years. At 13, he decides that he needs to grow up fast, so he can take care of his girlfriend and his child. His attitude is pretty much "I've screwed up, but I'm going to do my best to make things right." I can't help but think that if more young men reacted that way, the world would be a better are plenty of funny moments, and no doubt more than a few comments on Korean summary, a funny and cute film about a serious subject. Permalink too much fairytale, not enough reality Warning Spoilers I didn’t like this Movie on many accounts. First, the overall message was astonishing to me. I understand it is suppose to be a light-hearted comedy but in my book, underage pregnancy is not a topic that should ever be construed as so. Second, I imagined myself viewing this movie as if I were a teenager again. This is the message that I would have token away as a teenager, boy gets girl pregnant, boy and girl are both from well to do families, miraculously through the magic of cinema, the baby has no complications at birth, nor does the pregnant mother ever put on any weight, and overall, parents will “understand” and eventually will live happily ever after. Now this to me, is a horrible message as it doesn’t lead at the very end where I expected some sort of realization that this teenage mother in a café surround by mature women discussing their baby woes, may shed some sort of light but this then gets turned into through the magic of cinema another scene where somehow, the whole family appears, the Entire school supports the underage pregnancy, marriage, etc. of these two teens, and that somehow everything will turn out alrightTo me, this film sends the wrong message for any age viewer under 21. I say this because most, maybe not all, under this age, have a limited or lack a concrete understanding of how horrible teenage pregnancy can be...the alarming statistics of these un-wed, sometimes, improperly cared for babies who, even if they do make it, usually have far tougher stats if the teenage parents do decide to stay with the baby all the way through adulthood, and for the majority, do not end up in fairytale to conclude, when I was a teenager, I consider myself at least a bit more responsible and conjured up the courage to contact a place called Planned Parenthood before "doing the deed" and getting information before making such a half-hearted life changing glad I never saw such a Movie growing up, and if you have the choice to, would suggest giving this Movie a watch before recommending/endorsing/etc. etc. to someone you care about. 4 out of 10 found this helpful. Permalink 7/10 Not compelling, but somehow still cute and enjoyable Warning Spoilers Jenny, Juno is a Corean romantic comedy released in 2005 that deals with teen pregnancy. Despite the rather serious subject matter, the film actually manages to keep a very lighthearted, primarily romantic, tone, which led to the ratings board to initially slap it with a 18+ rating, despite its otherwise innocent nature, with the argument that the film trivializes teen pregnancy and makes it seem rather easy. Eventually, the film ended up with a 15+ story opens with Jenny Park Minji, a high-achieving middle- schooler, discovering that she's knocked up and quickly informing Juno Kim Hyesun, her middle-school boyfriend. There is brief ensuing drama, very similar to Apatow's Knocked Up, where the two decide to keep the baby and raise it together. From there it's a matter of keeping the pregnancy thing secret from parents and further building their that immediately impressed me about Jenny, Juno, was how it was able to keep dramatic urgency, despite the fact that the conflict remains rather light throughout the first half of the film. Instead, we primarily see Jenny and Juno continuing their very sweet relationship and working to both help Jenny be a healthy mother and Juno be a responsible father. The trick to retaining drama, it turns out, is the unspoken threat of parental action should the parents find out about the baby. And it should be no spoiler to note that they eventually do. Overall, the story kind of reminds me of female-centric comic books popular in both Corea and Japan, as the story progression, action, scenes from flashbacks, have a very Asian comic book feel and some of the comedy draws from that sort of visualization. I also liked how it retained a light hearted cheerfulness throughout. When things are supposed to get serious, they do, but unfortunately, the drama is more than a little hamstrung, because of the film's continuing push to keep its very optimistic outlook intact. Ultimately, though, the end problem with the story lies in that we don't actually get to see any development in either Jenny and Juno or the people around them and it should be the parents that we see the most development in as Jenny and Juno both seem like a pair of "magical" characters, who affect those around them. Also, the film really is rather unrealistic throughout, with little drama in the high school and setting up a rather pregnancy friendly situation for Jenny by giving her a wealthy film is modern and composed adequately. I was very impressed by the two young actors, both young teenagers themselves, although the roles weren't all that challenging. The supporting cast was well done too, although their characters were also more archetypal than complex. The music is understated with the exception of the theme song to the movie, which is rather catchy, but gets a little overplayed I have to say that I found this film rather refreshing, despite its rather notable problems, in both that it somehow manages to stay sunny throughout the first half and still retain its drama, as well as enjoying the romance between the two kids. That doesn't absolve the film of its problems with being so light-hearted that it floats away from dramatic grounding or its too-good-to-be-true atmosphere. And yet, somehow I found myself enjoying the film regardless. It's not great and is only arguably decent, but I liked it. It was cute. 7/10. 1 out of 2 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? It's funny enough, not too soapy and I liked its characters. it's a bit smug about depicting teens as having no idea what they're doing with sex but what you gonna do?it doesn't have nearly the substance of Juno but I wasn't expecting that. If it inspired Juno I think it should take a look to see how it should have been done. That they're couple from the outset is a bit lazy...Nothing amazing and you're not missing much I don't regret seeing it. 0 out of 1 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Sign in to vote. Permalink 9/10 Funny and kinda Cute too, but at the same time gives good message! Warning Spoilers Sometimes kids make mistakes but it's not the crime and it should be understand by the parents. The movie does not shows the reality at all because in real life the baby got k*lled for sure by the parents of those kids but the movie gives the good message that "it's not the last option at all and the ending could be happy." The Juno's parents are no doubt very funny. I laugh so hard in many scenes. Jenny sometimes behaves like Adult kid and it shows how beautiful actor she is. She portrays her role with full of motherhood for the baby. Overall it's a pretty good and cute movie and if you like watch some school romance then this one is damn good to watch. 0 out of 1 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Sign in to vote. Also what else can they do but help out their kids. its not like they can reverse what happened. and i don't think abortion will be a choice too. since the kids would never let that happen. or just killing the baby after its born. both of those are murder. all in all the movie was great. i could watch it a thousand times and never get tired of it. 2 out of 9 found this helpful. A pair of teenagers who become a parents at young age. The storyline at the beginning was a little slow, but nearing the middle, the story became nice to watch. Many teenage comedies are packed in this story, so even though this story is basically heavy but because of the touch of comedy, it becomes nice to watch and seems more moral message of this story can be taken well. About the responsibility of a pair of teenagers for the mistakes they have made. Indirectly, teaches us about being mature. This story teaches us to be careful in doing, and responsible for what we have done regardless of the consequences. However, I am a little less amenable to the feelings of the two main characters and their friends who don't seem to show guilt for doing things that violate the norm, or maybe even look happy after what they've done. Regardless, the main story of the film is not focused on it, but about the things that happened after that so I don't think it's a thing that should be appreciated is that the two main characters are able to portray the character very well. The character of adolescents who are curious, careless, and drunk in love really looks natural.
